Transit times depend on the distance: local/same-state moves typically take 1–2 days; regional routes (500–1,000 miles) take 2–4 days; and cross-country shipments generally take 5–7 business days. We provide estimated delivery windows when you confirm your booking.
Yes. Every carrier in our network is required to carry active cargo insurance, and you'll receive a copy of the insurance certificate before your vehicle is picked up. In the unlikely event of damage, our team will guide you through the claims process step by step.
You or an authorized representative must be present at both pickup and delivery to sign the Bill of Lading — a vehicle condition report that documents the state of your car before and after transport. This document protects you in the event of any dispute.
Remove all personal belongings from the interior (carriers are not liable for items left inside). Document any pre-existing damage with photos. Leave approximately ¼ tank of fuel. Disable or remove EZ-Pass/toll transponders. Ensure the battery is charged and the vehicle is in working condition if it runs and drives.
Yes. We can transport inoperable vehicles that do not run or drive. Specialized equipment (a winch or forklift) is required for loading, which typically adds $150–$200 to the transport cost. Please select "Inoperable" when filling out your quote request so we can arrange the right carrier.
Open transport is the industry standard — your vehicle is loaded on a multi-car open carrier alongside other vehicles. It is the most cost-effective option and is perfectly safe for the vast majority of cars. Enclosed transport places your vehicle inside a fully sealed trailer, protecting it from weather, road debris, and dust. It is recommended for luxury, exotic, classic, or high-value vehicles.
Payment is collected at the time of delivery — after your vehicle has arrived safely. We accept cash, certified bank check, and major credit cards. There is no deposit required to book, and you are not charged until you have your vehicle back in hand.
Yes. Once your vehicle is picked up, you'll receive the carrier's direct contact information including their phone number. You can call or text the driver at any time for real-time status updates. Our team is also available to assist with any questions during transit.
